The name of the movie is Perempuan, Isteri dan ... (Jalang)? [Woman, Wife and... (Whore)?] It's 3W lol.
This was the first film review we had done for our class. This movie received a lot of controversy as the title (Whore) is a word that devalue the status of women actually. Typically is what we call bitxh LOL At the end, director changed the title of the movie to Woman, Wife and ... ?
This movie was shooting in a village in Pahang. I was surprised when I saw the car plat number in the movie. It's start with C and this is a sign to tell us this is my hometown, Pahang. \（゜ロ\）（/ロ゜）/ !!! After I did some research and I found that director U-Wei Haji was born in Bentong, Pahang. Well, this make sense that why the director chose Pahang as the shooting spot.
A short synopsis of this movie : Zaleha (Sofea Jane) is about to get married with Amir (Nasir Bilal Khan) but elopes to Southern Thailand to marry someone else instead. The enraged Amir tracks them down, kills the groom and sells Zaleha to pimp. Half years later, Amir brings Zaleha back. However, Zaleha changed to another girl when she spent the time as a prostitute for 6 months. She tracks him into marrying her for revenge him. (IMDb)
Sofea Jane is a very brave actress that willing to express this kind of character as she has to sacrifice a lot of things such as her reputation to receive criticize from others. She is a very professional actress. From this movie, we can clearly see that the status of women in the past. They are not well treated by men in a family. Most of the women are afraid of their husband and not dare to go out for a small entertainment. Zaleha is different, she has her own thinking. She thinks that women should have their own spaces too. Therefore, she instigates women in the village to go for a movie together with her.
From the different side, Amir is a husband that treat his wife badly. When he knows that Zaleha run away to Southern Thailand with another guy, he tracks them down and kills the groom. After that, he sells Zaleha to a pimp. Zaleha experienced many things in the 6 months. After 6 months, Zaleha tricks Amir to marry her. However, Zaleha was used to become a sex object to favour other men. She never feel shy when she is showering in the public and watching by other man. What I think is all this was caused by Amir because he always called her prostitute and this mentally affect Zaleha's mind too. She always has "something" with other man in the village. Lorry driver or even a guy with mental problem. 
They rolled on the ground in the rain right behind of Amir.
This is also the final limit of Amir to kill Zaleha and the idiot too. He is a murderer that killed 3 people in the movie. The end of the story is Amir arrests by police and this tells us bad guy deserved the retribution
