Three Abdul

Basically, this is the third time I write post since last last month. LOL

Today I am going to talk about a b/w movie which show in 1964 named Tiga Abdul.
The director and scriptwriter was the legend of Malaysia, P.Ramlee.
I guess most of the Malaysian know him right?

Maybe I was too focus on the story and then ignore the actual message they wanted to portray.

There was some hidden message but I didn't realize it at all. OTL

So now I'm just going to talk about how I feel about this movie. First of all, there is intro song for this movie and I think this is very interesting even it was too long. If this kind of scene broadcast in cinema nowadays, lots of criticize on the social media will received huh? LOL  The title of 3 Abdul was showed in 3 different languages which is Malay, Mandarin and Tamil. Actually this is a sign that people in the past are united very well? I'm not sure about that but what I think is this is a good way to let every different races to know what is the title of the movie besides of just listen to the title song.

The way of how the movie was presented is also interesting. There is a story teller or what we called narrator in the movie. There is also a cameo in the movie which is the customer of the shop of the eldest Abdul. A customer that want to buy birds shit as manure in a bird selling shop. He is just playing around I think LOL

 Besides that, he is also a small spoiler of the movie LOL There was a part that how Abdul Wahub (P.Ramlee) is going to revenge by his wisdom and the narrator told us in advance. Oh I hate spoiler. TvT

Another thing is the costumes of the actor and actress in the movie. They wear short skirts, or even not with tudung. This can be a big issue in modern day. As this movie showed in 1964, Malaysia has just get their independence for few years but the mind, social system or economy of Malaysian maybe still remain in British way. They show the social lifestyle of rich people in Malaysia in the past day. Poor one must be slaves and rich one enjoy their life with feeding birds, doing woodcarving or playing music. This is a social gap between people from past until now too.
